We wish all our clients and those we work with a very Happy New Year. As we look forward to the year ahead, 2019 was a great year for us in Cambridge.

We have many exciting projects ahead, but last year we helped our clients submit planning applications and gain planning permission for many different projects, including:

  • an appeal for the amalgamation of St Andrews and Rushmoor Schools in Bedford, following microsimulation analysis;
  • a housing development of 295 homes in Cambridge;
  • an extension to an existing office car park in Kings Langley;
  • a change of use to offices with additional residential apartments;
  • conversion of former public house to children’s day nursery;
  • a development of up to 80 homes near Bedford;
  • a development of 416 homes in Biggleswade;
  • new student accommodation and lecture facilities for Emmanuel College, Cambridge;
  • change of use application approved for Chesterton Mill;
  • change of use of existing bulky goods retail unit to open A1;
  • change of use of existing buildings from B1/B2/B8 to include A1 retail floor space;
  • proposed Motel with linked meeting suite, gym and supporting car parking;
  • change of use of existing garden centre to B1/B8 uses;
  • expansion of existing vehicle (car) processing and storage premises;
  • residential development of 115 homes in Barnet;
  • conversion of former Labour Club to 39 serviced apartments, including café, gym and community space in Cambridge;
  • development of 13,243 sq.m of B1(c), B2 and B8 uses;
  • Technical Approval for S278 works for a new access for development in Gosmore, Hitchin;
  • approval for access works and roads for a residential development in Hemel Hempstead;
  • Technical Approval for works associated with access to a new Anaerobic Digestion Plant in Telford;
  • Technical Approval for highway works for a residential development in Cryers Hill, High Wycombe;
  • Technical Approval for revised access arrangements to a fuel station in Cheshire;
  • successful completion and signed off S278 works for access to a new retail park in Basingstoke.

At the end of last year, we moved to new premises providing us with space to build on our successes of the past few years.
