Our Infrastructure teams provide solutions for the civil engineering aspect of any new development. Starting with reports required to support planning applications, such as Flood Risk Assessments and utilities and services reports, to detailed design and finally delivery on site.

Highway Design

Our engineers provide highway design to support development proposals, including the work required to enable works under Sections 38 and 278 of the Highways Act.  Once approval has been obtained from the Highway Authority, we can assist with the contract administration and tender evaluation associated with the delivery of the works on site as well as providing experienced site supervision.

Drainage Design

Our experienced drainage team works closely with project design teams to produce workable, efficient solutions for surface water and foul drainage systems in new developments.  Flood Risk Assessments (FRA) are typically the first point of contact for many developers. As part of our work in producing the FRA, drainage strategies can be produced at concept stage to highlight key issues and their potential solutions.

Utilities and Services

We can also carry out reporting on the existing utilities and services provision in development sites, their extant capacity to accommodate development, and any  forthcoming improvements.  We are able to carry out time-critical C2 and C3 enquiries to support planning applications and detailed design stage work, working closely with the rest of our clients’ design teams to communicate critical issues.
