We are delighted to welcome Michelle Berrington to the board of directors of Transport Planning Associates Limited. Michelle joined us in February of 2014 from JMP and has led our Bristol office since the beginning of April this year. She is a Chartered Transport Planner and has extensive strategic and development transport planning project experience.
Currently and among other challenging projects, Michelle is leading our Rail Central project team. Rail Central is a proposal for a new strategic rail freight interchange where the West Coast Main Line meets the Northampton Loop Line. It comprises approximately 7.3 million square feet of warehouse and distribution development, and has the potential to create circa 8,000 new jobs.
