Bristol City Council unanimously agreed at a committee meeting to approve a residential lead scheme to provide 58 flats on the West side of Gasworks Lane and the South side of Anchor Road in Bristol.

The project also comprised the conservation, restoration and reuse of three Grade II listed buildings/structures: Purifier House, the Former Engine House, and the Gateway and Boundary Wall to Gasworks Lane, all of which remain from the original Gasworks on the site.

TPA prepared a Transport Assessment and a Framework Travel Plan to support the planning application submission. Significant post-application negotiations were held with highway officers at Bristol City Council to resolve highways and transport issues raised with respect to the location of the site access, as well as the proposed car parking provision and off-site public realm and pedestrian improvements.
