We were appointed by SJM Planning in relation to the proposed development of three 2-bed flats and five 4-bed houses with associated parking on land at Prospect Road in Royal Tunbridge Wells.
We provided advice to the project team relating to the proposed access and egress arrangements, focusing on the interaction with the adjacent signal controlled junction. Particular consideration was given to the car and cycle parking design for the site.
We worked with the wider team to prepare a suitable site layout which balanced highway design requirements and the needs of the Client. Post-submission we responded to the comments received from the Highway Authority, further demonstrating the suitability of the proposals.
A planning application was submitted and subsequently granted planning permission.
