CEMETERY ROAD, SNODLAND

PROJECT

We were instructed by Berkeley Homes (Eastern Counties) Ltd in relation to a proposed development in Snodland, Kent. The proposals comprised six three-bedroom houses with associated car parking and landscaping on land adjacent to an existing lake.

APPROACH

We provided advice relating to the proposed access and egress arrangements together with the parking provision and design. In particular we focussed on demonstrating that the visibility splays from the proposed access junction were adequate both horizontally and vertically.

We worked with the wider team to prepare a suitable site layout which balanced highway design requirements and the needs of the Client. Post-submission we responded to the comments received from the Highway Authority, demonstrating the suitability of the proposals.

OUTCOME

A planning application was submitted and subsequently granted planning permission.
