We were instructed by Longmead Capital in relation to the proposed change of use of the existing snooker hall on High Road in Wood Green to a flexible D1 Land Use.
APPROACH
Advice was provided to the architect and wider team regarding the transport requirements of the site including the provision of cycle parking. A Transport Statement was prepared in support of the planning application and subsequent post submission discussions were undertaken with the Highway Authority to satisfy the Officer that a car free scheme was appropriate in this highly accessible location.
OUTCOME
The Highways Officer accepted our justification for the car free scheme and planning permission was subsequently granted.
