TPA is proud to have supported London Borough of Brent who secured planning permission on Wednesday evening for an expansion of Byron Court Primary School.
TPA was commissioned by London Borough of Brent to provide transport advice in relation to the proposed expansion. A separate planning application was also supported and were in connection to proposed additional residential an d care home development on temporary school site.
Solutions
TPA developed a good working relationship with the local highway officer in order to agree a precise scope and methodology for the Transport Strategy. An extensive series of public consultation events were undertaken in order to understand and address concerns of local residents.
Part of the wider solutions involve further Travel Plan conditions whilst proposing to introduce staggered starting times and finishing times, park and stride, and walking buses.
