We are delighted to announce that Daniel Ekstrand, an Associate Director of Transport in our London office, has obtained the Transport Planning Professional (TPP) qualification. The Transport Planning Professional (TPP) qualification has been developed by the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) and the Transport Planning Society (TPS).

The qualification has been designed to provide professional recognition for transport planners, in the same way that Chartered Engineer recognises the highest level of engineering competence. It enhances the standing of transport planning as a career and acknowledges transport planners as respected professionals, whilst encouraging the development of the skills needed to tackle the major challenges facing the transport sector in the future.

About gaining the TPP qualification Daniel said: “I am thrilled that all the hard work paid off and to have received the professional recognition that the TPP embodies. I hope it will further inspire junior staff across TPA in pursuing the same qualification going forward and I will do everything I can to support them in doing so.”

Daniel joined us in September 2014 as a valuable addition to our team, supporting our growing market in London.
