Michelle Berrington joins the board of directors of Transport Planning Associates Limited

We are delighted to welcome Michelle Berrington to the board of directors of Transport Planning Associates Limited. Michelle joined us in February of 2014 from JMP and has led our Bristol office since the beginning of April this year.  She is a Chartered Transport Planner and has extensive strategic and development transport planning project experience.
Currently and among other challenging projects, Michelle is leading our Rail Central project team. Rail Central is a proposal for a new strategic rail freight interchange where the West Coast Main Line meets the Northampton Loop Line.  It comprises approximately 7.3 million square feet of warehouse and distribution development, and has the potential to create circa 8,000 new jobs.  It will form the subject of an application for a Development Consent Order early in 2018.  For further information on Rail Central please visit www.railcentral.com.

TPA’s Oxford office help secure planning permission for 183 dwellings in Seaford

TPA’s Oxford office, along with Pegasus Group, have successfully supported JAYNIC Properties Limited in securing planning permission for the redevelopment of the former Newlands School in Seaford to provide a residential scheme consisting of 183 residential units, which will be a mix of houses and apartments, as well as sports pitches along with associated changing and parking facilities. Working closely with East Sussex County Council to overcome local highway concerns enabled the application to be fully supported by the Highways Officer and the highway solution was highlighted by Head of Planning as a positive.
